Our singles group meets with the Huntington Beach First Ward, a family ward, but any single member within the age range and living within the Huntington Beach and Huntington Beach North Stake boundaries is eligible for membership in our group. Do you know of any stay at home moms with a teaching background that might be interested in supplementing their income by tutoring Paul a couple of times a week over the summer? I'd like for him to work with someone outside of our home, as I think we might get better results; he needs to work on reading comprehension. He is going into the 5th grade next year. The Sunday block schedule currently goes from 11am to 2pm.
Join us for light snacks after the block and mingle with your other midsingles friends . . . of both genders.
Monday nights @ 7:30pm. The default location is the stake center but sometimes it is at other locations.
Our group holds a fireside every 4th Sunday of the month. Location rotates from month to month. Average attendance is around 80.
Every 4th Wednesday – Newport Beach Temple, usually for the 8pm session.

This Monday we'll be meeting at the Atlanta Ave Building for FHE at 7:30pm. We'll have a short lesson then enjoy some refreshments and games. If you have a game (or two) that you like, please bring them. Hope to see you there.

Saturday, July 11 - Mid Single Kayaking @ 2:00 PM
Come on down (or up) to Huntington Beach and kayak with midsingles from all around Southern California!
When: Saturday, July 11, 2009
Time: 2-5 pm (kayaking) 5-8 pm afterwards for a good old fashioned corn roast
Where: Meet at Sunset Rentals, 16862 Pacific Coast Highway, Sunset Beach, CA 90742 for kayaking. If you want to meet us at 5 pm for the corn roast and bonfire, meet at Bolsa Chica State Beach next to Tower 17. Look for two green pop-up tents and people in long shorts! :)
Cost: $10 (kayaking)
Bring: Sunscreen, ID for kayak rental and lots of smiles!
